TCzTRZ, high purity TADF sky blue emitter

Paired with the donor DMAC-DPS, the device can achieve high PLQY and quantum efficiency

TCzTRZ - 9,9',9''-(5-(4,6-Diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)benzene-1,2,3-triyl) tris(9H-carbazole) is a TADF sky blue emitter with an electron deficient triphenyltriazine and three electron donating carbazole moieties. It has been suggested that having more carbazole donors present in the emitter helps to reduce the singlet–triplet energy gap ΔEST, i.e. the additional carbazole moiety in TCzTrz lowers the ΔEST by 0.09 eV while compared with .

Blue emitting as donor and TCzTrz as acceptor can form highly efficient exciplex, resulting in high and high quantum efficiency in the green exciplex organic light-emitting diodes.
